Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

How do I start?

Create a free account, then add credits whenever you’re ready. From there, pick a course in the course library and begin your first lesson. The AI Tutor guides you turn by turn.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser — courses, the AI Tutor and Seminar Practice all work on desktop and mobile. You just need an internet connection.

How do credits work?

Credits are spent as you practise: 1 credit per AI Tutor message or practice session, 5 per marked assessment and 3 per progress report. You buy a package once and top up whenever you need more.

Is this for the Academic or General Training test?

Listening and Speaking prepare you for the shared module, which is the same in both versions. The Reading and Writing courses are Academic-focused — and the Writing library covers every Task 2 essay type plus Task 1 bar charts.

Can I really practise speaking?

Yes — twice over. Seminar Practice gives you free-flowing voice conversation with an AI seminar, and the Speaking course works through Parts 1, 2 and 3 with structured practice.

Is the platform built for the new computer-based test?

Yes. IELTS is fully computer-delivered since mid-2026, and My IELTS World is a web platform — you type your essays, click your answers and practise on screen, exactly like the real test.

Your account is free. Your first session is one click away.
